The brief

A family workshop in Perm makes decorative dolls, mushroom-shaped night lights and jewellery. It sells through a Telegram channel and a marketplace page and has no website. Someone arriving from a link needs to see quickly what they can buy and how to order a toy of their own.

We couldn’t use photos of the work: the rights belong to the workshop. So every graphic on the page is drawn from scratch.

What we did

  • A dark fairy-tale showcase. The first screen is a forest at night: a mushroom night light glows and a small forest spirit sits beside it. It’s a single SVG scene, with no photos and no heavy images.
  • A catalogue with a filter. The work is split into three groups: forest spirits, mushroom night lights and jewellery. Each card has its own illustration that opens large on click.
  • Ordering without a form. The workshop takes orders in private messages, so instead of a form there’s a button that opens the chat, with a hint on what to tell the maker.
  • Everything from sources. Prices, sizes and how the night lights are powered come from the workshop’s own posts, with the date we checked them. Things that aren’t public, like the workshop’s address, aren’t made up.

How it’s built

React and TypeScript on Vite, illustrations in SVG, fonts served from the site’s domain. On phones the “Write to the maker” button stays pinned to the bottom of the screen. The page is closed to search engines because it’s a concept, not the workshop’s official site.
