The brief
A workshop in Tver runs pottery classes. Most people who come have never held clay and worry that nothing will work out. The studio has recently moved, and some map listings still show the old address. The site has to calm those nerves, help pick a format and send people to the right door.
What we did
- Three formats in tabs. A group workshop, painting ready-made ceramics and a gift certificate. Each tab shows the length, the price and the number of places from the studio’s announcement.
- From idea to firing. The five stages a piece goes through, with photos and a short video of the process, so people know what to expect.
- An atlas of forms. Six illustrations: four objects and two stages of work. Click a form to see it large and switch the glaze between cobalt, celadon and milk. A “Copy the idea” button puts a ready message for Telegram on the clipboard.
- The new address, big. A separate block with the address, the entrance and a route sketch, and right under it a clear note that the old address no longer applies.
How it’s built
Next.js and TypeScript, illustrations drawn in SVG. Process photos come from Wikimedia Commons, with authors and licences credited on the page. Headings are set in Cormorant Garamond, body text in Golos Text.
